FUTA Registrar Awarded Best Outstanding Registrar

In recognition of her sterling qualities and contribution to the academic world the Registrar, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Dr. (Mrs.) Modupe Ajayi has been awarded as the most outstanding Registrar of Yoruba extraction for the year 2015.
The Registrar was given the award by the Yoruba Redemption Foundation. 

Speaking at the occasion, National President of the group Asiwaju Temidayo Bello said the purpose of the award was to honor the Registrar for her contributions to National Development as an eminent Yoruba personality. 

He said the group was formed with the aim of identifying and recognizing Yoruba indigenes that were uplifting the Yoruba culture in their respective domains. 

Veteran Actor Chief Peter Fatomilola, a Patron of the group who was on hand to present the award, reiterated the importance of transferring the knowledge of the Yoruba culture to the younger generation. He said the philosophy of the Yoruba people was outstanding as reflected in proverbs, speech, mannerisms and the entirety of the culture. 

The veteran actor said the award given to the Registrar was apt as she was a true reflection of a well cultured Yoruba woman leading the Pack.
