Sad Reactions And Posts Of Students Who Sat For The 2016/2017 JAMB UTME Exams [Boys Are Not Smiling]

Its obvious that the 2016/2017 JAMB UTME exams has been condemned by all students for being a fraud as many has took to the streets and on social networks. we went around to interview students about the JAMB UTME result and believe me there was no single good news about it.
Below is what some students have to say.
1. Obetta Dofy Kingsley Chidera
Since I knew about JAMB, I have never had any
news saying that more than half of those that sat
for jamb were complaining that they were not
given their right scores.
When majority are complaining, then its obvious
that they are saying the truth. People are just
crying everywhere, because its very painful that
you are very sure of what you wrote expecting
nothing less that 300, and at the end of the day
JAMB sent you 180 as your score.
Some complained that the subject that they
answered just few questions were where they got
the highest marks meanwhile failing those they
were sure of. Have you ever heard of JAMB
dashing people 5 marks, talk more of 40, to tell
you that they know that they are at fault and that
the scores they gave them at the initial time was
not their real score.
If those exams where to be remarked, i am 100%
sure that more that half of those people
complaining will score higher than their formal
score plus 40. And now there are not still giving
everybody the 40 additional marks no matter the
reason for that,is that not cheating, partiality and
wickedness.
Imagine that someone they originally gave 160
and letter added 40 will now have a total score of
200 whereas there is also another person out
there that is normally not supposed to score 160
but was given 160 with no additional mark. And
the one with 200 will sit for putme in his/her
choice university while the other will not.
Is it fair? There should be equity. So therefore its
high time the govt should come into this situation
and solve it. Last year, JAMB came up with
eligibility, now it is wrong markings.
All Jambites affected seriously needs to disagree
with this jamb 2016 result. The govt should look
into look into this matter because this is really
unbearable. If this where to be some other foreign
countries, by now there must have been a record
of about 1000 students that have committed
suicide. For the fact that Nigerians are not like
that doesn't mean they should be deprived of
their right.
Seriously the government ought to look into this
matter.
Its either jamb gives the computer the right
answers and remark these test or cancel the
exam or call them to rewrite their exams after
they must have resolved the problems.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH JAMB? Its Quite Disheartning That Jamb Has Dashed The Hope Of Alot Of Studious Candidiates For Jamb 2016. The Whole Incidence Is Just Funny And Sad To Me.I Mean, whats Going On? I Can Remember How Most Of My Friends And I Studied So Hard For This Exam .Jamb Past Questions Became Nothing To Us As We Drank It Like Water Like,we Studied It To The Extent That,we Became So Familiar With The Questions. We Didnt Just Crame It,we Corrected Wrong Answers Before Absolving Them Into Memory. As For Me Now,my Textbooks Were Friends With Me As I Made Sure I Wouldnt Have Any Course For Alarm When The Exam Comes.According To My Analysis,i Have Discovered That Most People With High Scores Did Not Really Work For It .Those Who Worked Hard End Up Scoring Low While The Lazy Ones, score High. This Leaves Me With The Question, where Is The Place Of Reward For Hard Work? Am Writing This With Tears In My Eyes. After All,jamb Gave Me A Score I Can Never Dream Of .Why Then Should I Work Hard Again?

I think it is time to stage a protest against jamb. How can somebody sit for an exam and after, you start dishing out marks. Is it laziness or incompetence? You see the brilliant ones been given low scores and the less brilliant ones receiving higher scores. Could you imagine, I received 190 as my score. I, that scored 223 last year. Even though I did not read, I know will not score less than 223 I scored last year. I have resolved that come Monday 14th of March I going to their office to make my complaint. If you are living in Abuja and it environs and you know that you are sure jamb treated you the same way, come and join me to make our complaints

Ladies and Gentlemen. I think it's high time I correct this notion that some of my fellow candidates have created about this year's jamb exam. Accepted, this year's jamb exam has not lived up to expectations, jamb even gave out free 40 marks to some candidates but that doesn't mean that some who got high scores this year doesn't merit it.
I read a post here earlier about a guy complaining about his own score and how he "deserves" more "because" he scored higher last year(hmmmmm). The fact that you scored higher last year doesn't guarantee you a higher score this year for Christ's sake. Someone even went as far as saying that the brilliant ones got lower scores while dunces scored higher(asin eh!!!.......who told you?). I might be wrong but from what I've heard personally from some candidates who in their bid to explain their failure, never accepted a little blame for themselves instead they blamed everyone and everything around them, I simply noticed that "over-confidence" killed off many candidates even before they had the chance. Some thought they were pitch perfect while in reality they weren't, hence the blame on everything around them cos "why"?..........they can't make mistakes after all, they are brilliant.
MY ADVICE: Firstly, over-confidence can sometimes be so dangerous cos that thing you're so sure of can produce a different outcome. Secondly, in life there is no such thing like "I deserve this or that". You don't deserve anything, you want something?.....then you have to earn it!!!......and before you earn what you want, you must work hard for it. Thirdly, acknowledge God in all that you do and remember, you only look back at something with pride and not before it. ‪#‎Merci‬

All The Institutions In Africa Precisely, nigeria Is Absolutely Corrupt And Has Always Constituted Nuisance To The Entire Public And Community. Our Educational Institution Has Lost Its Value, the Police Has Not Proven To Be Protectors Of Our Lifes And Properties, our External Affairs Relations Is In Total Disarray, some Of Our Religious Institutions Now Talk Of Money And If You Aint Wealthy, you Are On Your Own As Prayers Wont Be Made For Your, delieverance. The Three Arms Of Government, legislature, executive And The Judiciary Are As Confused As A Man In A Dilemma,i Wonder How Confused People Can Be Apply To Make Laws, implement Laws And,interprete Them. This Brings Me To My Reason For Making Up This Post.
Now,alot Of Candidiates Have Seen Their Results Which Is A Very Piteable Sight And Am Very Sure These Candidiates Had Worked Hard But Have Had Their Hopes Dashed Because Of Incompetence, bribery, corruption, nepotism, lobbying And A Host Of All Other Ill Conceived Evils That Are Prevalent In The Bodies That Conduct Exams

It's sad that here in Nigeria nobody listens to the plight of helpless students. We have human right activists but no 'education' right activists. I feel the pains and lamentations of JAMBites this year. This is exactly what happened in 2013 when JAMB failed those who wrote paper-pencil DELIBERATELY. We inferred it was in a bid to encourage the newly-introduced CBT. Now, the long claws of brazen ineptitude or should I call it wickedness of Prof. Dibu-led government agency has found its way to the 'safe' CBT.
.
I am forced to think that JAMB dishes out scores arbitrarily this year. They did not mark any 'shit'. If you are lucky, they may send you a high score. I see no better explanation than this. I know many bright candidates who sat for this year's exam. These are students whose academic abilities are glaring. Candidates who forsook many pleasures and burnt the midnight candle. JAMB in their usual wickedness, decided to frustrate these helpless, hardworking and young intellectuals. Yesterday, a friend nearly cried out her eyeballs. I called her today and she is still crying. I was touched. To show the height of JAMB's ineptitude, they sent her 179 as an aggregate. On the net, she saw 164 as her aggregate. Isn't that insanity? Two aggregates for same result. This is someone who admitted that the exam was very simple. It was just repetition of past questions. We have got senses. When you do well in an exam, you will know. Even if the score is not up to one's expectation, it should not be so abysmally low that one will begin to wonder where they fetched the scores.
.
You may think those affected candidates are lying or they did not do well. This is because you did not experience this in your time or you have not experienced it. I was once a victim. I was accused of malpractice and collusion with examiners. My result was not released. That was an exam I wrote without shifting. I didn't even do 'giraffing' let alone collusion with an examiner I did not know. I know how bitter I felt that year. I think it's time JAMB showed the public their marking scheme and the answers to the questions after the exam so that the candidates will know the ones they failed and how they failed them.
.
They should stop frustrating Nigerian students. They should stop giving the world the impression that Nigerians are lazy and unintelligent. I just wish I have what it takes now to fight for these poor candidates. Let's condemn injustice!
.
This is getting crazier.

Is it really poSsible for everyone to pass an External exam like Jamb and postume????.....Nope!!!...(Though it seems the nice Eggs are mostly affected)
.
The earlier You know whom Dibu is, the better for You.....
I stated this earlier, but many thought am joking.... Jamb Registrar Prof Dibu is running that office like his family house...
.
I once posted that this Eligibility stuff is now modified in such a way that ur score will tell you whether you will write for ur first choice or 2nd choice....
This is a system to use low scores to force/distribute people to go for their 2nd choices.....
At a time, he cleverly added 40mrks to some people to carry the minds of the public away from his premeditated strategy.... And I began to wonder when Jamb started performing such charity work....
.
I know how many of you feel about your scores because I have been in such situation many times.... Where u read, jack, studied and cram everything crammable.... And still score something that will nearly make you go Gag and crazy....

Where u have to be reading for pume in tension and fear bc u are trying to compete with people that scored so higher than you....
A situation where UNN pume sitting format will be perforated according to scores, ranging from highest to the lowest....
And you find out that those that scored so high have already exceeded the number of quota mapped for that particular department.... (E.g Med and Surg, Law)...
.
This is not time to start lamenting on facebook, because it won't pool a string.....
If you can go to Jamb office in Abuja, fine..
If not, u can still make out the best from what u have.... Start now, get your sure success, textbooks and other necessary materials and Read.....
Make good decision on whether to change your course or not, because a time shall come, when getting ZOOLOGY in UNN will be like getting Medsurg on merit in a state University....
So, just pray and see what God can do....
The FG interfered last year during compulsory Jamb policy, I believe God can still do it again... Just that the motion for the low scores of candidates has not been pushed to some extreme that FG will deliberate on it.....
But in all, just know that one man poison is another man's food.....that it didn't favour you doesn't mean it didn't favour others....
Some still scored high you know?? and God still uses a way to bless whom he wants to bless....
Note: everyone is free to write exam, but not everyone must pass...

From all indication so far, I think the senate should summoned the Jamb registrar Prof. Dibu Ojerinde to explained on the media why this year exams are full of many misconception than previous years. If it will be possible for the federal government through the minister of education to order Jamb to cancel this year 2016 JAMB CBT and reschedule another exams for the good of the Nigerian students. From the look of things, Jamb did not mark this year exams rather they just give out any score to candidate. How can a graphic score of 190 was sent to a candidate via text message but when the candidate went online to print her result it was showing 176. Is that not wickedness? I think it is high time the federal government intervene to this issue as soon as possible for the sake of the poor masses.

13. Goodness Aquila
Dibu Ojerinde is just trying to play politics with people's FUTURE.
Do you know why he's doing all this? He's butthurt! The form fee for the exam has been reduced to #2500 and the VALIDITY has also been increased to 3 years. What does that tell you? No more big bucks rolling in. But he still has the power to hold students down to buy his form by compulsorily failing them.
I don't know when hardwork stopped paying off for students. I mean, how can you spend so many months studying, reading the whole of your textbooks and still get 30+ in subjects that you know so well? Isn't it absurd?
He also decided to add 40marks to those who wrote their exams on 27th and 29th. If he was following justice and equity, are the marks not supposed to go round?
This is very scary. I don't know where this nation is heading to anymore. Situation of things is not encouraging. Dibu only wants to frustrate students.
Its alright. If you have been a victim, i'll advice that you get up on your feet, start a movement and protest! Infact, JAMB should be scrapped! The corporation is only exploiting us.
Say NO to ‪#‎JAMB‬!
