The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Zana I. Akpagu has warned students, especially Post- Graduate students of the University against registration by proxy in order to avoid falling prey to the pockets of fraudsters still hanging around the Campus.

The Vice Chancellor gave the warning while addressing students at a one-day orientation programme organized for post graduate students of the Institution and held in the auditorium of the University‘s International Conference Centre.

Prof. Akpagu while reiterating his determination to stamp out all forms of racketeering on Campus urged the students to ensure they take the pains of paying school charges and completing all registration processes personally.

The University Administrator congratulated the students on their success in the admission process saying he was proud to have them as research students and urged them to take their academic work more seriously and to a higher level, adding that, this could be better enhanced if they take full advantage of the availability of an e-library in the Institution.
