The Vice Chancellor charged the new Global Leaders to be focused on their studies, strive for excellence and be of good and responsible behaviour in and outside the University’s Campus. He said the matriculation ceremony was not a mere routine but a significant rite of passage in the life of every University student. The Vice Chancellor further enumerated the successes recorded by the University so far in putting up better learning and research facilities and in churning out graduates that are performing excellently well in their various fields of endeavour within and outside the country. He congratulated the Global Parents and solicited their support within the framework of the Tripartite Agreement governing the training of our young Global Leaders. This can be achieved through constant telephone calls by the parents to their wards, prompt provision of their needs and paying regular visits when necessary. The Matriculation oath was administered by the Adjunct University Registrar, Elder Solomon Haruna. In attendance were the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Abraham Onugba, Deputy University Librarian, Mr. James Onoja, University Chaplain Rev. Timothy Attah as well as Academic and Non- Academic staff of the University.
