1. FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
a. Department of Accounting Ph.D, M.Phil/Ph.D in Accounting with options in:
2. Cost and Management Accounting
3. Forensic Accounting
4. Auditing and Investigation
5. Public Sector Accounting
In addition to the regulations governing Postgraduate Studies, the following requirements shall apply:
i. The candidates must possess five (5) ordinary level Credit Passes which must include English Language, Mathematics and Economics at not more than two sittings.
ii. A candidate with Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Accounting from Ekiti State University and other recognized institutions or Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) degree.
iii. A candidate seeking admission for Ph.D in Accounting must have at least a Weighted Average score of 60.0 or its equivalent in their final Master’s degree Examination.
iv. Candidates seeking admission for the M.Phil/Ph.D programme must process; M.Sc (Accounting) Degree and a score of a weighted average of between 55.0 and 59.9 (or CGPA of 3.25 to 3.49)
b. Department of Banking and Finance
M.Phil/Ph.D in Banking and Finance with option in:
1. Corporate Finance
2. International Finance
3. Financial Institutions and Markets
4. Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management
5. Public Finance
6. Finance of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises.
i. Possession of University matriculation requirement of five (5) ordinary level Credit including English, Mathematics and Economics in WAEC, NECO, and other recognized examination as approved by the Senate of the University in not more than two (2) sittings.
ii. Candidates applying for M/Phil/Ph.D programme must possess M.Sc in Banking and Finance with Weighted Average of between 55.0 and 59.9 (or CGPA of 3.25-3.49).
2. FACULTY OF THE SOCIAL SCIENCES
a. Department of Economics
Postgraduate Diploma in Economics (PDE)
Candidates for the postgraduate Diploma in Economics shall possess a Bachelor’s degree of any approved Institutions with at least a Second Class (Lower Division) in any of the Management Science Courses, Science and Technology [Engineering], Social Sciences and other allied disciplines. A third class degree in Economics from Ekiti State University and other reputable Universities, HND holders with a minimum of Upper credit are also eligible to apply.
Photocopies of NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate, photocopies of all credentials, including ‘O’level or its equivalents must be attached to the completed application forms. Candidates must as well arrange for their transcripts to be sent directly to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies. Non-Receipt of academic transcripts in time is at the detriment of the applicant.
DURATION OF PROGRAMMES
Postgraduate Diploma Programmes
a. Full-Time Diploma: Minimum of two semesters and a maximum of four semesters.
b. Part-Time Diploma: Minimum of four semesters and a maximum of six semesters.
Masters Degree Programmes
a. Full-Time: A minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters
b. Part-Time: A minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of eight (8) semesters.
a. Full-Time: A minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of ten (10) semesters
b. Part-Time: A minimum of eight (8) semesters and a maximum of twelve (12) semesters.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application fee: N16, 000.00 (Sixteen Thousand Naira Only) including E-Transact Commission.
Procedure for Application
Interested applicants are to:
(a) Pay the application fee via E-transact into any of the following banks

(b) Use the E-transact to download the application form
(c) candidates are required to log on to eduportal.eksu.edu.ng/eksuapply
submit at the General Office of the College of Postgraduate Studies, EKSU.
Note: EKSU graduates and graduates from other recognised Institutions should ensure that the official transcript from their Institutions is directed and forwarded to the address below (indicating the target Department) latest six (6) weeks from the date of this advertisement.

Henceforth, the College of Postgraduate will admit its Candidates during second semester, especially Departments where First Semester courses are not pre-requite to second Semester courses.
Forms are available throughout the year but ONLY COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS RECEIVED NOT LATER THAN Six (6) weeks from the date of this advertisement would be processed for 2016/2017 admission exercise.
All other forms purchased or submitted after this date shall be processed Second Semester 2016/2017 Academic Session accordingly.
