The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Professor Eghosa Osaghae, on behalf of Board of Regents, Governing Council, Senate, Staff and Students of Igbinedion University announces the events for the 14th Convocation Ceremonies of Igbinedion University Okada holding as follows:
Monday 21st November 2016- Convocation for the award of first degrees and Prizes and also a Convocation Lecture to be delivered by Professor Akaehomen Akii Ibhadode, Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE). Topic: “Making Technology a Way of Life in Nigeria”.
Saturday 26th November 2016, Convocation for award of higher degrees and conferment of honorary doctorate degrees on some distinguished Nigerians; namely:
  • His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi,(Ojaja II), the Ooni of Ife
  • Alhaji Aminu Baba Nabegu, mni.
  • Pastor Osarenren Ighiwi, JP. Chairman, Egba Community Development Association.
