NYSC Pledges To Train Staff On ICT

Staff of the NYSC are to be empowered with more skills in Information and Communication Technology to enhance operational efficiency.
The Director-General, Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, gave this hint while interacting with the staff at the NYSC Orientation Camps in Kebbi and Zamfara states.
Kazaure informed them of the crowning of NYSC as the best agency in innovative deployment of ICT at the e-Nigeria 2016 e-Governance Award Ceremony in Abuja, adding that the Scheme would continue to leverage on ICT usage to enhance service delivery.
The Director-General also assured that the Management would look into the suggestion for the establishment of a training school for the scheme.
He remarked that staff motivation remained a crucial factor in the achievement of organizational goals, and went on to assure them of his determination to improve their welfare.
The Director-General hinted about plan to transfer staff that have stayed in the same location for at least fifteen years. 

During the interactive session, staff praised the Director-General for demonstrating concern for their welfare while making suggestions for further welfare and operational improvements.
